Our Interdisciplinary Doulas offer comprehensive physical, emotional, informational, and logistical support during pregnancy, labor, and the postpartum period to birthing individuals and their families. Research shows that the presence of a Birth Doula can reduce medical interventions, such as inductions, forceps, vacuum extractions, and cesareans, leading to fewer complications, shorter labors, and improved breastfeeding outcomes.
Our doulas support all types of births—vaginal or surgical—and assist families in any birth setting, whether at home, in a hospital, or at a birth center. Acting as extra eyes, ears, and hands, we enhance the birth experience by providing responsive care and addressing potential concerns that may require additional attention.
Birth Preparation and Planning: We assist our clients with preparing for their experience to help them achieve their goals as best as possible We can help with comfort measures to assist in reducing pain and avoiding suffering during labor and/or guide your partner to assist you with techniques such as breathing exercises, relaxation, physical movement, and positioning.
Setting the Environment: We work with the parents to consider ideas about what they want for their birthing environment - soft lighting, relaxing music, scents, or other features.
Our Interdisciplinary Doulas provide support during any unexpected events or changes in the parents birth vision. We also can provide postpartum debriefing to new parents following delivery, assisting them in processing the event and addressing any questions or concerns they may have about their birth and medical care.
We offer support, confidence, and a soothing presence to aid in lowering tension and anxiety during pregnancy, labor, birth and the postpartum period.
We work to provide our families with the information they need to make informed choices on various birthing options and parenting options including, labor interventions, labor procedures, possible treatments for their ailments, and newborn care.
During the prenatal period, our doulas will discuss your family’s needs and preferences to determine how we can best support you. Although some families do opt for our virtual support or hybrid support. Each of our clients is provided two doulas who make up their ENT Doula Team to ensure that they always have accessible support.

We can help the partner and other support team by educating them on the birth process and their role during pregnancy, labor / birth, and the postpartum period. We can show partners how to care for the pregnant person, or birthing person during labor. We keep them aware of what’s going on with the birth process, and strive to keep them involved in the care and nurturing of the parent.

We educate our clients on how to advocate for themselves, gather necessary information for informed decision making, and facilitate communication between the medical staff and the laboring family.

Postpartum doulas assist during the critical first days and weeks, helping families navigate the transition with confidence. This support benefits even experienced parents, fostering healthy postpartum adjustment, positive perinatal mood, and overall well-being.

We can assist our clients with making newborn care decisions and provide nonjudgmental support no matter what choices and decisions are made regarding their body, their care, or their baby's care. We can provide information on diapering, bathing, and calming methods for new babies. We can also provide education on normal and abnormal newborn characteristics, and provide advice on newborn safety.
We provide information and guidance on newborn care, and can demonstrate newborn care such as bathing and diapering to help build their confidence to bond with encouragement and support. Our Doulas help to free up some time from partners, so they can spend quality time with their partner and baby while we are present, or rest, handle personal tasks, or take care of themselves.
We assist parents focus on encouraging normal bonding and attachment between the parents and baby. We can also assist with other practical responsibilities such as nutritious food prep to encourage postpartum recovery, and light household tidying such as folding baby clothes, or washing baby bottles.
All of our ENT Featured Interdisciplinary Doulas provide virtual support through our Virtual Pregnancy Partners Program, no matter where you are in the world. Your personal Virtual Pregnancy Partner will walk with you through the rest of your pregnancy, the actual labor, birth, and even postpartum, with follow-ups to ensure you, your baby, and your family adjust well.
Research proves that Virtual Doulas close gaps in care and can improve birth outcomes, and experiences in rates comparable to in-person doula support, particularly for Black families.
Our Virtual Pregnancy Partners are our Featured ENT Interdisciplinary Doulas who are ready to support you no matter where you are in the world. Your personal pregnancy partner will walk with you through the rest of your pregnancy, the actual labor, birth, and even postpartum, with follow-ups to ensure you, your baby, and your family adjusts well.
All of our Interdisciplinary Doulas are trained in Bereavement support. These services are for individuals and families who are experiencing Grief & Loss during or after a pregnancy due to a difficult decision, loss of pregnancy, difficult diagnoses, stillbirth, newborn loss, infant loss up to age 1, or loss of the birthing person up to 1 year postpartum. As best as we can, our doulas will walk with you through this difficult process of grief, and support you on your way to healing physically, mentally, and emotionally. Our Bereavement Doulas can provide customized assistance depending on your specific situation, and what you may desire and need.

This Pre-Pregnancy Preparation class is designed for individuals and their partners who plan to conceive; helping them to identify and answer questions related to the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of their soon-to-be new lives. During this class, you will gain useful information to help prepare physically and emotionally for pregnancy as well as gain information that can be implemented prior to conception to help increase the likelihood of a fruitful pregnancy. The class also focuses on the 1st trimester of pregnancy.
These classes are designed to make an expecting person and partner / support feel more confident about their upcoming birth experience. The classes will help soon-to-be parents understand that birth is an ancient process and that they can birth normally and naturally by working with their body's signals. Our educators will provide you with tools to be able to navigate your birth in any environment including home, hospital or birth center and whether you desire to have a medicated or non-medicated birth. We will assist your partner in learning comfort techniques and other skills to provide more effective support. These classes will also help parents be able to make informed decisions about their care and their baby's care by providing information pertaining to childbirth and the postpartum period, including breastfeeding AND baby basics. Our educators will help you to build the knowledge you need to have a self-empowering birth experience.
